Meet the Dentists

Jay Henderson

Dr. Henderson is the owner of Terrace Hill Dental Center. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Dr. Henderson was awarded a Fellowship in the American College of Dentists as well as special recognition from Pierre Fauchard Academy. He also received a Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Henderson always enjoyed visiting the dentist as a child, and he decided from a young age that he wanted to be a dentist. In addition to running his own dental practice, Dr. Henderson also serves on the board of directors for the University of Southern Mississippi Athletic Foundation.

Dr. Henderson shares two children, Ryder and Jace, with his wife, Ryan.

Felder “Buddy” Wallace

Dr. Buddy Wallace was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and his family moved to Monroe, Louisiana, early in childhood. After graduating from high school, Dr. Wallace attended the University of Florida, where he graduated in 1972. After college, Dr. Wallace moved back to Louisiana and graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Wallace’s educational accomplishments resulted in his admission to the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. Upon graduation in 1977, he moved back to Hattiesburg, where he and his wife, Deborah, still reside. Dr. Wallace and Deborah have six children together.

Dr. Wallace is an avid collector of sports memorabilia and vintage watches. He also enjoys antique cars.

Janice Touchstone

Originally from Picayune, Mississippi, Dr. Janice Touchstone wanted to be a dentist from the time she was a small child. She loves seeing people smile, and a career that helps create beautiful smiles is definitely the right path for her. Dr. Touchstone is a graduate of Pearl River Community College, Millsaps College, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. She is also a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where she studied neuromuscular and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Touchstone also completed additional training in Botox and fillers for cosmetics and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. She truly enjoys all types of dentistry and loves getting to know her patients and their families.

Dr. Touchstone has been practicing dentistry in the Hattiesburg area since 2007. She is married to Brad, and they have one daughter, Ryleigh Jane, who is in high school. When not working, Dr. Touchstone enjoys watching her daughter dance and cheer, attending church with her family and friends, exercising, and baking treats. She has been involved in the Rotary Club of Hattiesburg and Lions Club of Sumrall and has served as a board member for Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi.

Amy Sutton

As a child, Dr. Sutton always looked forward to dental visits, and she has always been interested in science and medicine. So it’s no surprise she went on to pursue a dental career that combines these interests. Dr. Sutton received her doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and has been practicing in the Hattiesburg area since 2012. She was nominated by her peers for Fellowship in the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Fellowships with Pierre Fauchard Academy are an honor extended to fewer than 3% internationally. It is conferred to dentists who have demonstrated they have served or have great potential for service and leadership. Fellowships in the American College of Dentists reflect exemplified excellence through outstanding leadership and contributions to dentistry and society.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Sutton enjoys playing tennis, attending USM football games, and spending time with her two children. She also loves to run and read. Dr. Sutton and her husband, Josh, are active members of Grace Temple Church.
